I've just had my shopping delivery and my butter has been substituted with kerrygold spreadable.

Ingredients: butter 69%, vegetable oils 20%, olive oil 5%, buttermilk, water, salt

Would it work? Would it taste terrible? it's only for DH

Yes, olivo and utterly butterly etc work ok.

I normally use Stork for baking and find it gets a better result than butter but I'm not sure how the ingredients compare to that Kerrygold stuff. Actually I've just had a look and I think you'll be fine because of the oil content. I'd give it a try, am sure it will be fine.
