my children are a nightmare for grazing, I'm looking for some recipes to have available for through the day that I could also include in packed lunches which are marginally better than the crap they keep going for as snacks. don't mind sweet recipes they are all fairly active and we are trying to weight build due to medical issues so treat recipes welcome too

Mine like:

Slices of any kind of loaf cake - lemon, orange, choc chip
Muffins - plain, choc chip, raisin
Flapjacks - with choc chips as a treat ( can you see a theme emerging here....)
Cupcakes with melted choc for icing

They are currently working their way through a choc chip loaf and I am going to struggle to save two bits for tomorrow's packed lunches!!

Flapjack.

Make it with whole oats, rolled oats, butter, golden syrup, a little treacle, grated apple, and any nuts, seeds and dried fruit that are liked.

Very filling, and quite slow burning.

We made drop scone / griddle cakes which have been popular this week. I added some blueberries to some too.

They either had them plain or with butter and sometimes jam.
