Foil Flan Cases for Baking?

Can I use foil flan cases like these for baking sponge cake? I have 2 proper cake tins but can't be arsed doing it 3 lots.

What do you think?

not sure how easily the cake will come out afterwards - suspect the mixture will work its way into the crinkled edge.

Also, are the edges vertical or sloped? if sloped, will the cake stack OK if required?
