Thought this was really interesting. My friend's going to use this in her geog lessons on food consumption.

Look at the difference between fresh & processed food.

How disappointing that the English table looked so heavily processed and packaged. The Indian table on the other hand made me hungry. Love the colour and the higher fresh food proportion

Agree. I expect each family was chosen as they represented the average for that country in terms of income & social factors.

If we compared the groceries of 3 UK families with markedly different socio-economic backgrounds, it'd be very different too I expect.
