Simple New York themed cake?

Hi, anyone have any ideas for a simple cake for an American friend who is moving back to NY? I know I can get skyline patchwork cutters but need suggestions about how to add recognisable buildings or symbols - Statue of Liberty looks v difficult! Thank u 😀

Do a yellow cab instead?

I'd do the skyline around the sides of the cake, and then on the cake board around it make a USA flag, fondant yellow cab, a Little Brown Bag, a red apple, a little cupcake with a cocktail stick label saying 'magnolia bakery' sticking out of it, a road sign with directions to 5th Avenue/Broadway etc. Or they could all go on the cake. @ your friend!
