I've never made braised beef before, I think I know what to put into the pot, but I would like some recipes you've tried and enjoyed. I have a brisket that's .6kg so how long do I cook it for and at what temp? I'm going to cook it in a big cast iron pot in the oven as my slow cooker is tiny.
I need a salt free and alcohol free recipe as my 9 month old will be tucking in as well! This sadly means I shouldn't can't use beef stock cubes, so will the gravy be flavorful enough?
