Fussy ds1 has just asked me for this, I guess he has had it at his new nursey, ok, so I know what goes in it (above) but does it have a sauce with it?

I do this but use a pasta bake sauce and then cover it with melted cheese, the kids love it.

A cheese sauce?

JackieNo · 15/05/2006 17:26

I just do it with lots of melted butter and grate cheese on just before serving.

you cna do it either with a white sauce base or a tomatoey base.
White sauce base, fry an onion and then make a basic white sauce. Stir in tuna and sweetcorn and then cooked pasta. Put in a baking dish and top with grated cheese. Bake/grill until cheese is melted.

Tomato sauce base, fry an onion, stir in tuna and sweetcorn and then tinned tomatoes. Heat through. Then stir in cooked pasta. Again top with melted cheese.

Quick and easy version for cheese haters:

Mix tuna and sweetcorn into hot pasta, stir in 1 tablespoon of mayo for every portion. Mix well.

the whole lot is in the bin!
