Stupid spinach question!

I got frozen spinach on my food delivery (my error, not theirs!) but I wanted it for juicing. However it says do not eat raw on the side of the bag - any idea why? Can I just defrost and juice it?

Interesting.....

Is it the ice perhaps? What country is it from?

Not at home right now so can't check. It's tesco frozen spinach

Google says something about it not meeting the food standards that frozen fruit has too so they tell you not to eat it raw

I've noticed that warning before on some brands of frozen peas. No idea why. I'd be tempted to ignore it personally.

That is disgusting! Frozen peas (eaten frozen) are a great snack - especially for little'uns when they're teething...or so I thought...
