DS2 (3.4) is very keen to help out in the kitchen. We have done the usual round of omelette, pizza, gingerbread people, cakes & flapjack, and now I'm seeking inspiration, preferably savoury.

These cheesy biscuits are a doddle to make & are very tasty!

We have an "i can cook from the garden" book that my dc 5 and 3 love. Each week they pick something and we make it on Saturday Smile

Brilliant bessie26 - he's mad about cheese!

Do any of these take your fancy? Smile

Thanks JiltedJohnsJulie, the printer is going.

Fisharefriendsnotfood will add that to his birthday list.

Pinwheels are awesome

Puff pastry (1/2 block or 1 sheet) rolled out, spread marmite and sprinkle with cheese, roll slice and bake on oven tray 10-15 mins? On 180.. May need a bit longer keep an eye on them.

Also can do cheese and tomato, cheese and ham, chocolate spread, cheese and onion or leeks.. There's quite a lot of options for fillings

Have you thought about savory muffins? Quite a lot of flavour choice there too. Can't go wrong with a muffin :)
