What is in a Balti Dahl anyone?

I've not eaten much today and dh has just phoned to tell me not to make his tea and order a curry.

I have plenty of points left to cover it (doing weight watchers) but want to try something different to chicken tikka or tandoori chicken.

Does anyone know what is in a balti dahl? And, are they nice? Spicy etc

Dahl means it will be lentils, or chick peas if 'chana dahl'. Balti - cooked in a little metal pan thing.

dahl usually means lentils, nice, and bit spicy

Why not ask the chef when placing your order??

Dahl will be lentils (probably chickpeas), and balti dishes are usually slightly spicy with tomatoes to make ity tangy and yoghurt.
