Love the Duchy one from Waitrose!

Rattitude · 09/04/2013 15:19

I buy the Morrisons luxury one and I think it is really good. I always check the ingredients though and make sure it is made with butter.

Seriously Zesty Lemon Curd Waitrose 325g

A winner imo. I cheat and use this to fill sponges etc, it is really tangy.

Puddlelane · 09/04/2013 15:43

Oh boo no Morrisons around here, I shall try and get to Waitrose.
I do love a lemon sponge!

Duchy one excellent...also Tiptree.
I love lemon curd, can eat pots of it. Lovely swirled in yoghurt with raspberries.

Puddlelane · 09/04/2013 15:51

I sometimes just eat the odd spoonful! X

If you can find it, bracken Hill fine foods make some fantastic lemon curd as well as lemon and lime curd.

glorious · 09/04/2013 17:23

Duchy imo. Not sure if you've tried but it's dead quick and easy to make too Smile

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/04/2013 18:02

Duchy = expensive but sublime.

Otherwise Sainsbo's taste The Difference is good, if they still make it.

Tesco finest one is very nice

MrsBertMacklin · 10/04/2013 00:19

Another vote for Duchy.

Don't buy Sainsburys TTD one, all sugar, no lemon.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 10/04/2013 00:22

Another vote for Tesco Finest here.

peanutMD · 10/04/2013 00:30

We get one in our local farm shop which is gorgeous and home made, do you have one nearby?

Can I ask how you make the microwave one please?

Puddlelane · 10/04/2013 08:10

MrsShrek please come back and tell me how you make it? :)

Make it- quicker than going to the supermarket!

5 minutes in the microwave!

Dolallytats · 10/04/2013 08:29

M&S one is lovely with a real tang to it. I made some lovely lemon meringue cupcakes with it the other day. I don't dare buy it again!!

Puddlelane · 10/04/2013 09:06

I will in future make it and I am going to M&S today so I'll have to buy that one!
And I need good bread!

Tiger bread or a lovely fat granary needed for lemon curd.
