What do you put on a banana split? What else COULD you put on a banana split?

I am making banana splits with 30 small children.

I will give them each a banana and then put lots of things in bowls for them to make an unholy mess with.

What shall I put in the bowls?

I thought a dollop of ice cream each
Squirty cream?
Fake cherries?
Berries if I can get some not too exepensively.
Chocolate shavings?
Sprinkles?

Sorry posted too soon...

Yes to squirty cream
Yes to sprinkles
Yes to ice cream
How about chocolate sauce instead of shavings?

Not sure about berries and fake cherries.

Tinned fruit (pineapple, satsumas)
Squeezy chocolate and strawberry sauces
Golden syrup or honey
Nuts (if no allergies, of course!)

I'd ditch the berries and go for some butterscotch/toffee sauce

I suppose the berries were a sop to being healthy.

Sauce. Yes of course. Maybe choc or caramel.

Tinned fruit not a bad plan either.

This is going to be fun :)

Fudge chopped into tiny cubes
Chocolate Flake
Cinnamon & warm honey
Lots of ice cream
Crushed malteasers

GOD I want a banana split NOW!

Egg flip you are an artiste. You are taking it to the next level and I am frankly a bit swoony at that list.
