Iv got mince meat veg potato dumping mix slow cooker told my boyfriend I will make a stew..Were do I start?

By making cottage pie. You want meat chunks not mince for stew.

For cottage pie, brown mince and a chopped onion if you have one. Add a stock cube and a little water.

Put in ovenproof dish and let cool.

At the same time, make mashed potatoes.

Spread mash over mince

Cook at 180 for 45minutes.

You could do mince and dumplings. So make like the cottage pie base with extra gravy and stick dumplings on top!

I like to add a bit of tomato purée to mince, whether on its own or as part of a cottage pie
