just that really. I have a gammon cooking in brown sugar, in the slow cooker. I'm thinking of roast potates and cauliflower cheese. anyone got a better suggestion?

What you have sounds really nice.

I usually do boiled new potatoes, peas and some mustard and if I fancy a bit of Seventies style cookery - a Blush pineapple ring (must be tinned though). Grin Sometimes I do chips, peas and a fried egg with tomato sauce.

was it a big piece of gammon or slices. I might try this with brown sugar- sounds yum

I haven't got a slow cooker, but I've got a gammon currently roasting in the oven, along with a big dish of potato dauphinois. I'll probably steam some broccoli to go with them
