I baked with off milk

So baked some muffins today and had them for arvo tea with some friends - they were very nice.

Later on I noticed my housemate chucking out the milk - it had a use by date of 18th. I smelt it, and while it didn't smell that bad, it had a distinct smell and I wouldn't have used it if I smelt it first

I wanted to take leftovers to work or am I risking mass poisoning?

Sour milk is sometimes nicer in baking. It will not do you any harm.
