Food for an Easter Egg Hunt!

Planning on having roughly 12 children and 24 adults over for an Easter get together/egg hunt.

I'm not going to do a fully fledged feast as in lunch or dinner but wanted to do a sort of buffet type thing. Afternoon tea?

Ideas so far: Open rolls with smoked salmon, egg mayo
Quiches (shop bought!)
Scones with jam and clotted cream

Anything Easter themed would be a bonus but its more easy, cold buffet food I'm looking for.

TIA

Hot cross buns, simnel cake?

How about a sald with quails eggs? That would look pretty.

Ooh, quail's eggs sound different!

Might get lots of mini hot cross buns and serve with selection of jams??

Not feeling inspired.....

Deffo hot cross buns.
What about those chocolatey nest things (like cornflake cake but choc covered shredded wheat?), with a few mini eggs for the kiddies. The grown-up equivalent might be mini pavlovas. EAsy to make the meringues ahead (or buy!), and pre-whip cream, and chop fruit, and do v quick assembly job at last minute.
