Avoiding that red flush...

I sort of suggest a paracetamol tablet (Boots) can help avoiding that red veined flushed look that can affect women in their late 30s onwards...

Anyone know of wines that dont have this effect? I know someone who had a real quality expensive red at the office Xmas dinner, and despite several glasses had no flushness or hangover the next day...

As far as flushing goes, I'm pretty sure that's just down to the individual. Everyone reacts differently. As far as higher quality wines go however, there is truth in the fact that they are likely to give you less of a hangover. This is because in more expensive, 'hand made' wines, there has been a lot less manipulation and crap added. Think of it like a home made lasagne made with beef from the butcher and fresh veggies compared to the uber-processed cough HORSE cough minging stuff you can buy for 99p in supermarket...
