Is marmite okay to give to my ten month old baby. I have seen recipies for marmite sticks or is it too high in salt? I have given her a little and she loves it.

Too high in salt imo

A tiny scraping on some buttered toast would be ok every now and then. You use such a tiny amount that the salt content would be much reduced.

Would be interested to know if anyone's had a definitive answer from a GP / HV / toddler nutrition book etc. dd is 10 months, and veggie (eats fish but no meat), so am interested in the B12...

Salt is the number two ingredient after yeast extract though...
