Simple chocolate sponge cake

It's my son's first birthday on Sunday and my daughter and I want to bake him his first ever chocolate cake. Anyone got a recipe for a very simple, not too rich, cake that's simple enough for a five year old to enjoy making?

Delias all in one sponge cake is idiot proof (or at least Dragon proof!) I've posted it somewhere on Mumsnet before... if I get chance, I'll hunt it out.

just take out an ounce of flour form a normal reipe and put in an ounce of cocoa
