Variations on classic mojito - grapefruit?

Hello all,
I have a friend coming over for dinner and a couple of drinks and I know she loves mojitos. We are both a bit skint and won't be going out, but I've bought us a bottle of Bacardi to make some cocktails.
My usual mojito recipe is crushed limes, crushed mint, crushed ice, brown sugar/water syruppy stuff, Bacardi and soda to top up.

Anyone used different fruit as a variation to lime? I have a pink grapefruit and thought that might be nice....

Thanks!

I had some lovely raspberry mojitos a couple of weeks ago. I've seen them in all sorts of flavours on cocktail menus. I can't see why pink grapefruit wouldn't work.

Thanks!
Sadly she's text to say she's driving so won't be drinking :-(
Ah well, all the more for me :-S
