Your best pulled pork recipe please

I would like to make pulled pork for a family buffet type. Thinking Pork, Apple sauce, coleslaw and sour dough rolls.
However I have only seen it on ManVFood. So your best recipe please? To feed 10 to 12. I do have a largeish slow cooker (which has sat unopened for 2 yrs) and am not averse to using it.
Many thanks in advance Thanks

Well, you could be lazy and go to Waitrose who sell pre-seasoned pork joints £10 for 3, would easily feed 10-12 people

Or this recipe is good. You could do in the slow cooker - probably double/triple the cooking time. I don't think the BBQ stage would be necessary, just serve as is or stick in a hot oven/grill for a bit

I tend to use either slow cooker or put pork into a low oven - say 130 - for 6-7 hours or so. I always use pork shoulder, and rub it with oil, garlic, fennel seeds, salt and chilli flakes. The longer the better. If using the slow cooker don't add any liquid - or minimal at best - it won't evaporate off.

Thanks for this, I am defineatley going to get my arse in gear and buy a slow cooker. I love the sound of pulled pork.

The waitrose pork joints sound good, but we don't have one that close to us Sad
What cut of meat is good to use ?

I can't find it right now, but I had a recipe for pulled pork using pork fillet/salsa/sachet of fajita seasoning. Absolutely delicious. Done in the slow cooker.
