Fish based meals for freezer

Hi all,

I'm looking for inspiration for fish meals to cook this weekend that I can freeze, particularly for DCs (2 and 4) to have during the week. Doesn't matter what type of fish although I do already have a few salmon recipes.

Either that or family friendly dishes with fish which can be ready in 15 mins or less - I may be making this more complicated than it needs to be!

Fish pie? I make with just salmon and cod for ds and freeze easily.

I make a big batch of fishcakes (fish+potato, breadcrumbed and fried) which I freeze and then oven-cook straight from frozen. They take about 20 mins (same time as oven chips or wedges, so we often have them together)

Also a salmon or tuna pasta bake, topped with crushed crisps freezes well, but defrost it before cooking.

I keep some packs of ready-rolled puff pastry in the freezer, defrost one and fill it with a tin of salmon, some broccoli, and a dollop of white sauce/creme fraiche for a lovely easy 'salmon en croute'

White fish fillets, just dipped in flour and fried are lovely. You can buy bags of frozen pollock fillets which only take an hour or so to defrost at room temperature. I serve with lemon, sometimes capers, mash and green beans.

You can also do a very cheaty fish stew with by frying garlic then adding tinned tomatoes, mixed herbs and a bag of fish pie mix, frozen or otherwise - serve with crusty bread, garlic bread, aioli if you can be bothered.

My favourite salmon recipe is wrapped in bacon and baked. Or fried in teriyaki sauce with sesame seed sprinkled noodles.

Smoked haddock poached in milk with a poached egg on top? Quick to make, but a fair bit of washing up, especially if you do with mash, the obvious carb.

Pasta pesto with peas/broccoli and salmon is my super quick fishy tea. Microwave the salmon for a couple of mins until just cooked (if you leave it to stand it will continue cooking a bit so be careful not to overdo it). You can even cook the veg in with the pasta if you have a big enough pan. Can also do with prawns.
