Chicken legs? anyone?

Oh i am so brain dead on this lovely sunny day.

I have a load of chicken legs, and i cannot think what to do with them for dinner!

Who can suggest something quick and easy. I only have the basic cupboard contents so nothing too exotic.

Yes i have considered bbq but cannot be bothered to go behind the shed where all the spiders lurk to dig out the bbq!!

Thanks in advance!

natural yogurt mixed with curry paste or garlic bake the chicken in it

Those bloody shopping fairies - slacking again !!
OK well the yoghurt recipe from ztoes sounds yum
So do you have any leeks? tin of sweetcorn?
Scratch that ... I was going to say bake them on a bed of wilted leeks and spinach ... So ...
Roast them with some sort of herby crust or the yoghurty paste on
Make a savoury rice with onions, garlic, peas, sweetcorn, peppers, mushrooms whatever you have fresh or frozen and serve them with that

Tell you what - get a pizza !!

I think i will!

I have fried them with leeks and a mix up of soy sauce and bits and bobs.

And they are the bloodiest chicken legs i have ever seen! They are all cooked but blood still oozing from them. Just chucked them in oven to try and really murder them before i eat them Sad.

I really don't fancy them now. I'm going to start a thread about why chicken legs have blood.

I love this simple idea from Waitrose.
Season the chicken legs and toss in some flour. Fry in a mixture of butter and oil until evenly browned. Add 2 or 3 cloves of garlic (crushed) and about 1/2 pack of fresh rosemary. Pour in 300 ml dry white wine (it also works with red), bring to the boil, then reduce the heat, cover and cook gently for about 40 minutes. Serve with rice or new potatoes and your favourite other veg. Enjoy!
