Alternatives to cornmeal for Nigella's chilli topping?

Would like to do the veg. chilli from 'Feast' tonight but can't get cornmeal. Any ideas? Breadcrumbs maybe? TIA

don't know what the cornmeal is like - but you couldn't go far wrong with grated cheese and/or breadcrumbs/crushed tortilla crisps?
