Quiche - make ahead or on the day?

My PILs are coming this weekend & I thought I'd make a quiche. Personally I'd planned on cooking it the day before & serving it cold but DH informs me that this wouldn't be acceptable to FIL! Hmm Should I make it the day before & reheat it or do the prep the day before & bake it on the day? Also, how important is it to blind-bake the pastry?

I don't know how I survived PIL visits before I discovered MN! Wink

I'd definitely blind bake the pastry to make sure it isn't soggy on the bottom.

Having had quiche disasters in the past I'd also make in advance and reheat just to make sure all goes well! or buy one from the supermarket Grin
