How Do I Eat A...?

How do you eat a Sharon Fruit? I'd like to give it to my daughter (almost 8 months old), but I'm not really sure what it is or how to eat it... It isn't a citrus fruit, is it?

Also, how do you eat clotted cream? Do you eat the stuff on top or scrape it off?

For your daughter I'd definitely cut the skin off as that can be quite tough, but fine for adults to eat. Then cut it up, depending on how she normally eats food. I'd make sure it is really ripe, and try it first, I've occasionally had ones where something about them makes your mouth goes all funny, like something is sucking all the moisture out of your mouth iyswim.

Clotted cream, yes eat stuff on top. I'd personally always have it spread on scones as part of a cream tea. If I was having it with something else I'd probably just use double cream instead which is cheaper. I do have a friend who would just eat it straight out of the pot with a spoon Shock
