What to serve with Mejadra?

I know there are some Ottolenghi fans out there, so please help! I got the Jerusalem cookbook for Christmas and really want to make the Mejadra. It's described as a meal in itself, but I want to cook it for friends coming for dinner, so I think I need to do a couple more dishes to go with it. I had thought maybe the courgette & tomato salad from the same book (or another veg salad if anyone has a better idea?), and a yoghurt sauce, but do you think I need one more dish? I probably won't do starters but will do some kind of light (probably fruity) dessert. We're not veggie but not averse to meat-less meals. tia.

I think of the Mejadra as a rice dice. I think the courgette & tomato salad sounds like a good dish to serve with it. Maybe a fish or chicken dish as well? Have you tried the roast chicken with fennel, arak and clementine? You can do all the prep for it in advance, then bang in the oven about 45min before serving time.
