Only made chunky soup which she eats with her hands then uses the bread to soak up the rest.

If it is anything like yoghurt then good luck!

My 2 year old likes soup but it's so messy! I usually dunk bits of bread or sandwich in it and then pop it into his mouth. He loves it!!

Just give your LO a spoon and some bread and good luck!

with spoon and a very capacious bib and a lot of cleaning afterwards.

I used it put lumps of bread in the soup for ds to fish out !

Orinoco · 03/05/2006 20:55

Lots of bread!

My 19-month-old loves starchy soups. He had a thick pureed one this weekend. And ate it very tidily, with a spoon.

Finally, his refusal to be fed by anyone pays off!

Naked, with a plastic sheet underneath their chair, would be my advice!

Greensleeves · 03/05/2006 21:02

I put a towel under his chair and leave him to it

i must admit my dd has all the juice soaked up in bread before i hand it to her, she stil not very good with spoon tho so its fingers for her (bad bad mummy!)
