If I peel and chop a mango, can I freeze it in little portions, raw? I've go a huge mango that I'm just not fancying but I often want a little bit for a salsa/curry etc so wondered if it would freeze.

Also, while I'm here, if I made a casserole that was primarily chopped potatoes, would that freeze well?

Thanks!

I think frozen mango would work for adding to a curry but might go mushy for a salsa. Haven't tried though...

Am sure you can freeze mango, I have bought frozen cubed mango from the supermarket to have as an easy snack/dessert and it was lovely.
And don't see any reason you couldn't freeze your potato casserole, I have made a hotpot with sliced potato and frozen it before, and it was fine!
