Ice on frozen bolognese

I made a large batch of bolognese and froze some in a sealed container. Upon taking it out of the freezer this morning I've noticed that there is lots of ice on it. What's that all about then?

If they weren't very cold when you put them in the freezer then there will have been water vapour in the container. This then condenses onto the bolognese. Nothing to worry about.

And if there was a big air gap between the top of the bolognese & the lid. I often put a piece of clingfilm or interleaving paper over stuff in tubs, as you cant get all the air out & I find things can dry out a little.
