my mom used to bya homepride fish pie sauce it was cheese and herb/onion flavor then you added mashed potato on the top she used to put tuna in it it was tummy.
you cant buy the sauce anymore any suggestions pleaseSmile

homepride also do a 4 cheese sauce which you could add your own herbs to and also Colmans do a packet cheese sauce.

Otherwise what about buying a white sauce and adding your own cheese and herbs to taste?

can you make cheese sauce? its easy .. would have thought you could make your own ..just fry some onion then make the sauce over it and add mixed herbs

There's an American recipe for tuna pie that is based on macaroni and Campbell's condensed celery soup. You add a fair bit of cheddar cheese on top of it.

If I do a tuna pasta bake I use a tin of Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup - would that do? (recipe knicked from American roomate at Uni)

yes grated cheese melts into white sauce (the butter and flour roue plus milk type) really quickly

dunno about single cream .. sorry
