Big cupcake tin - metal or silcone?

Whats the best type of tin to use? and are these fairly easy to make

Metal definitely in my experience. Had 2 attempts with silicone and after baking for nearly 2 bloody hours it was still raw in the middle. Came out perfect in metal one.

I thought it may be easier to get it out of the silcone ones but that cake release stuff is very good
