Medium/large egg size in cake recipe?

Am making this Nigella cake for DS birthday tomorrow. I bought large eggs because most of her recipes use them, but having read it again it says medium eggs.

Would it make much difference if I used 4 large eggs, or should I reduce to 3?

Use the amount of eggs she says in recipe - there is little difference between medium & large.

Waitrose large eggs are the same size as the medium size ones I buy at Tescos.

An oeuf is as good as a feast!!

rule of thumb - the flour and the eggs should weigh the same. Weigh the eggs.

Well I chose the smallest 4 eggs, and DD decided to 'help' crack them, so we kind of 'lost' a bit of egg Winkcakes all baked and cooling now and seem fine. Thanks!
