Dh always grills it. Just plain normally. sometimes with a bit of salt and pepper.

Lay it out on foil under the grill, medium heat grill.

Puree it with creme fraiche and creamed horseradish...bit of lemon juice and you'll have mackerel pate in seconds...nice on toast or crackers.

This is for 2 people:

Buy 4 baking potatoes, 300ml double cream, grain mustaard and some fresh parsley to go with you fish.

Start cooking potatoes - give them about 15 mins head start (maybe zap em in microwave first)

Put fish in a baking dish.
Pour over the cream, 2 tablespoons mustard, parsley and s&p.

Bung in oven with potatoes.

Cook for 20 mins.

Break open pots and scrape flesh into a bowl. Mash flesh with a little of cream from cooked fish.

Stir fish into potao mash then pile it all back into skins and place under grill.

Serve with a nice green salad.
Bake in oven with the

Bit late but another idea is again flaking it into rice with peas but also add some yellow peppers. Dts love this and it tastes quite good once it has cooled down too so would be ideal for taking to work.

Right, you need to introduce it to Cod, then everyone will place bets and watch them fish slap each other to the death...
