a question about dough

I made pizza dough last night. It was an american recipe that used All Purpose flour. A google told me this is UK plain flour. So I made it as per the recipe but it didnt rise at all in the hour.

Maybe not warm enough I thought. We had a different dinner.

Thing is, it has risen overnight. So can I use it for pizzas tonight or should I make a new dough with bread flour this time?

Dough will also not rise if the water used is too hot (it reacts with the yeast if too hot) ... it should just be tepid, even a little too warm is not good.
I'd make pizzas with it now, no harm in trying.
The mix I use is a 50/50 mix of plain flour and strong bread flour.

We made pizzas with it and it was fine.

I think the water was a little too warm! I was aware that affected it but I obviously need to lower my interpretation of tepid :)

Lol. I had the same problem last time I made bread. Just a tad too tepid and my dough didn't rise at all!
