I'm sure this has probably been done before so if anyone can point me in the direction of a suitable thread, that would be great.
If not, I'm looking for inspiration. Dd (6) will eat anything and ds(1), looks like he'll be the same. Its for those days when you've had no time to prepare anything in advance, have gone somewhere straight after school and by the time you get in, they're starving and will wait no more than 15-20 minutes for food. Added to that baby is being a clingon so you don't want to be standing over the hob.
Things along the lines of fish fingers and potato waffles that can just go in the oven. Its just that they're getting a bit boring.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou for all your ideas which have transformed our meal times.
In particular Princesspeaheads recipe with pasta, chicken, pesto and creme fraiche. We have it at least once a week now, sometimes swapping the chicken for tuna. It is so quick, tasty, filling and popular with all of us.
will be watching the recipe section with much interest.
Thanks again

blush
why thank you, posey!
not that it is really a recipe, more of a "throw it together and serve"...

Just "discovered" this thread while looking for ideas. I'm being really anal and writing down lists of menu ideas on a spreadsheet so that when I get to Sunday's internet shop I don't go brain dead and sit there for hours wondering what to order! This is so useful - thanks all!

Now if ONLY someone had told me about passata while I was Annabel Karmelling it with weaning ds. All those hours waisted peeling and deseeding all those sodding tomatoes!! Oh well, live and learn...

GeorginaA I have to agree with you about the Passata thing. I haven't bought a tin of tomatoes since it was recommended on here A fabulous new store cupboard item.
