Lovely small things for brunch?

I am having some friends round with their toddlers for a kind of brunch playdate. Am thinking I will just put some things out so people can help themselves.

I am going to make some little muffins and perhaps get some little pastries. But I was wondering what else would be good? I'd like to make this a reasonably regular thing so it would be nice to have a few ideas. I was looking for a recipe for little savoury tarts but couldn't find anything quite right. Don't want anything too messy and also they need to be toddler-friendly...

Little sandwiches, quiche cut into small pieces, bread sticks and dip, small pieces of fruit, crisps? You could cut everything up smaller for the toddlers and keep the larger portions for the adults

If you have a waitrose nearby they do a bag of mini frozen pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat and pain au raisin) which are pretty good.

I'd also serve cutted up fruit, some small quiches and if I was going to make hot food then some little croque monsieurs might be nice.

Mini bagels with different toppings
Kedgeree
Asparagus salad
Selection of cheeses (Swiss type ones at that time of day maybe)
Mini Danish
Yogurts

Frittata (Spanish omelette?) cut into little squares (you can do a veggie one and a ham or smoked salmon one).

I've got some puff pastry recipes online which worked well with my toddler. Both nice and cheesy!

mrsvilliers that website is brilliant, I made the courgette tarts for my fussy toddler last night and she ate two! I am going to try everything on there.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions; in the end I made cherry tomato frittata (and cut it into little squares, which looked very nice!), some fruit skewers and some homemade cinnamon buns (recipe here which were really easy to make and tasted very good. All went down a treat.

Thank you! I'm glad the tarts went down well and your brunch went well too. I must give frittata a go, my little fusspot has just decided omelettes aren't going to kill him...
