Hello. When my DD (4) gets home from school she is really hungry.
I don't want to give her too much otherwise she won't eat her tea.
She has hot school lunch btw.
I usually offer apple/a raw carrot/breadsticks etc but need some ideas please Smile

I do same with DD aged 5. Various fruit or toast and Houmous or toast/marmite, slice of cheese, baby bel, yoghurt (but then not for pudding!) etc.
Only one of these though!
And only water to drink Smile

My two eat a toasted bagel with peanut butter. It has become a daily tradition and I am in a spot of trouble when the peanut butter runs out! I can never resist a teaspoon from the jar which may be why it runs out so quickly.

My DDs finish school fairly late, 4pm if no activities and 5.30pm if they have an activity. I usually take fruit for them to eat in the car as they are pretty hungry straight away, especially after netball or other sport activities. I sometimes surprise them with a choc biscuit and then they will have the fruit after dinner instead of pudding. On a Friday I take a bag of crisps as a treat.
