Using candyfloss as cake decoration - will it last?

I want to use candy floss on top of a cake - will it last for a few days, does anyone know? Or will it melt into a soggy pink mess? :)

It will completely soggify. This happened on one of the cooking shows - might have been Masterchef Australia. Could you buy it sealed to stay fresh, then add at the last minute?

No it won't last. It will pick up moisture from the air very quickly and start to dissolve and return to sugar.

Oh, pants :( I guess I could add it at the last minute but I was hoping to avoid that...

Am liking soggify as a verb, btw :)
