Right I have 3 eggs (did have 6 this morning when I left this morning). I need to make a lemon sponge cake for tomorrow and I need to know what quantities needed for flour, sugar and butter.

Thank you

if medium eggs, 150g of each. 175g if they're large.

Weigh the eggs and do equal amounts of everything else

I've been banging on about weighing the eggs for years people thought I was a weirdo

Thank you all again.

Lemon cake turned out good, so dd1 can take it into school (her birthday on Sunday).

I will remember about weighing eggs in future, so when dh eat's them when I saving them for cake making I can still make them.

Mumsnetter's always know the answer.

I always do the egg weighing thing. Never fails. Chuck it all in, add extras like fruit, lemon zest, whatever and Bob's your uncle Grin
