what can I do with casserole beef other than make a casserole?

I've just defrosted some casserole meat for tomorrow but bit fed up of casseroles so wondering what else I can make?

Ooh...watching this thread. Something other than pie, please ladies. (My pastry is crap). Quite like the idea of curry.

Use suet pastry and make a steak and mushroom pudding.

I like chili made with steak instead of mince.

Cook in a rich tomato garlic herb sauce and serve with polenta, add cheese when making the polenta, lovely warming winter dish.

Chilli with beef is delicious. Just pop it in the slow cooker and it will melt in your mouth!

Buy ready made puff pastry and Jamie Oliver's steak and guiness pie is very good.

Make a beef casserole then use it to fill puff pastry parcels and you've got homemade beef pasties. Okay, it's just a beef pie with puff pastry in a different form but its very yum, and my DH was very impressed when I did this with some leftover casserole! Even if I did serve it with baked beans...

Or do curry or chilli, as others have said?

Irish stew? Lots of potatoes and carrots for an hour or 2 before serving.

cut it thin and make a stir fry. You'll need good knives though

Oh and don't forget savoury crumbles to make a casserole a different meal, bit if cheese and thyme into the mix, lovely.
