It's hard to make from scratch as some of the ingredients are really hard to get hold of. I order it from the butcher and then just cook it at home. Yum!

Are you near a Jewish area? You'll have loads of choice if you are. But any decent butcher should be able to order it in for you.

I am planning to make it soon. Nothing complicated about it! I plan to use
((www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/saltbeefandhorseradi_93658 this))
recipe from Good Food. My butcher will do me a brisket roll any day. In fact I had one on Xmas Eve to make Sauerbraten for the 29th Dec (marinates for 3 days)

Let me know how it goes!

Links aren't working because you are using round brackets, not square ones.

This should work!

Oops Blush

Thanks for that!

Thanks both and thanks for the link. I am determined to make it! The other half is making bagels.
