fry up some mince
boil up some veg
like carrots and peas
add some gravy powder or use cornflour to thicken stock

boil some potatoes and mash them seperately
wait for them to cool
then put on top of mince and veg
and brown under a grill

We add beans too, half tsp chilli powder, beef oxo, a squirt of tomato puree & a lid of mushroom ketchup. Excuse the technical terms!!

Well it works for us, DS used to love it but lives on coronation sauce sandwiches & oat biscuits now

brown mince
add any or none of the following: chopped onion, chopped mushrooms, small chopped carrot
add clove garlic, tbsp basil, 1/2 tbsp oregano, 1/2 tsp rosemary, a bay leaf (guessing at quantities as I chuck it in)
tin of heinz baked beans and a little bit (about 1/4 tin of water)
simmer for 30 minutes
then put in casserole, top with mash and oven bake for 45 mins
