baking a cake in a small metal bowl

Its DD1s fourth birthday at the start of Feb. She has asked for a ladybird cake.

I intend to make a rectangle cake and then decorate it with a ladybird sitting ontop.

I found this bowl and think it would be a good size.

Does anyone know what size cake mix, temperature and approx cooking times I need?

Im not too worried that this part of the cake is edible, so if anyone has an inspired way of making a similar size ladybird please share! Would a pure fondant one be silly?

Get the bowl, make a standard victoria sponge mix, see how much is left over and make fairy cakes with it. Then do a sum...

I have a similar bowl and think 10 oz mix filled the bowl and had some left over. 10oz marg, castor sugar, flour and 5 eggs.

I made this cake for my friends daughter. It was made out of a single round 8inch cake and then a similar size bowl cake on top.
