How long will my gammon last?

I made \link{http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,632-2132981.html\this} on Sunday night and it has served us well with salads and omlettes since.

But how long will it be ok for?

We got the gammon from our local farmer (food miles = 1 = ponce) so it was freshamundo, then was cooked and has been safely in the fridge ever since.

we keep our poached gammon for a week (if we haven't eaten it all) and it's fine.

oh good, it was a huge m*tha and I don't want to waste it.

Aside: dd1 will only eat chicken and when she saw me slicing some, she said 'is that chicken?' and I said 'YES!' and she had some for her tea saying 'mmmmm I love chicken'.

hahahahahahaahahah
