Another slow cooker question..

I am seriously considering putting my steak pie stuff in the slow cooker for lunch tomorrow. Is this a really bad idea?
I figure its probably best being on low for 12ish hours as opposed to being on high for 3-4

Is there any kind of way to work ouf how much less luquid to put in a SC?

Eg if Im making soup, and the recipe says 700ml stock, would I half that?

I have never made soup in mine and to be honest I NEVER measure anything. I've always just covered whatever I'm cooking and no more iyswim..

Think it will just be trial and error really.

I might use the "just enough to cover" method too and adjust from there!
