I did the same Delia recipe! It's perfect, I didn't have ground cloves but I love how it's not a all soggy. Xmas Grin

I just looked at that but havent got any red wine vinegar. Do u think red wine wld do as a substitute?

I also just made it, used red wine and a splash of balsamic instead of vinegar and omitted cloves as don't have any. It's pretty tasty

600gof red cabbage
One red onion
2 cloves of garlic.

Sweat with knob of butter and some olive oil till cabbage is wilted.

Add 50g sultanas and a sprig of thyme (leaves broken off)

Then add 70mls red wine, simmer until cabbage is soft and most of wine has
gone.

Then add 2tbsp honey and 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar.
