Ive just taken delivery of a 6kg goose but my house flooded and I lost my fridge and it wont fit in the fridge of the house we are renting. Its been delivered in a polystyrene box with ice packs can I keep it in the garden in this box and keep putting in new ice packs?
Any thoughts?

We'll be keeping ours in a box outside. I would have thought it'll be cold enough.

I think, the ambient temperature it is at the moment, your ice packs won't melt!! Newspaper is another good insulator.

Put it in your car boot, then it's secure and will keep cold, particuarly overnight.

Yep, it'll be fine outside. Just secure it somewhere that the foxes can't get to it.

I used to keep Stilton Cheese in the roof, above the insulation.

Garage?

My turkey will be delivered tomorrow and it will live in the garage (in the boot of one of the cars) until xmas morning.
