How much meat per person

if you were going to do beef Wellington? Someone told me at least 8oz. I was a bit Shock

Its about right as I would say 200g per person and 8oz is 225g

I would say about 1" length of fillet each.

between four - 6 ounces per person should be fine. The steak has pate and pastry with it, so it's not like eating steak alone.
