Wilton's candy melts

I have been trying to make mini Lego minifigures with this stuff and an ice cube tray but it stays quite gloopy. I thought it would get more liquid. I was going to try and make cake pops but I can't see how I can cost them. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?!

I found that out last week, when I tried to make cakepops! Grin

Someone on here suggested I add some oil to the candy, to make it a bit more runny. Not sure how much though and I haven't tried again yet!

Hopefully someone will be along shortly with better help!

White cake covering with Wilton oil colours? I've had such mixed outcomes with candy melts.
